Workday Analyst
Title: Workday consultant Workday (Advanced Compensation) Functional Analyst (Business Side)Location: Richmond or McLean VA - OnlyDuration:6 monthGeneral Responsibilities:Work with product owners to understand desired application capabilities and testing scenariosUnderstand and translate the priorities of the business while integrating HR value proposition and strategies to meet the needs of the businessDeliver solutions in Workday across HCM, Recruiting, Compensation, Advanced Compensation, Payroll and Benefits through efficient and organized processes while maintaining high standardsEffectively communicate across team, Product Owner, stakeholders and influence solutions across business partnersSupport clients during Annual Events such as: Annual Talent/Performance, Merit, Open Enrollment, as neededIdentify opportunities for process improvements, collaborate with HR partners to provide innovative ideas and insights to redesign business processes that will optimize business results.Continually research, test and stay up-to-date on Workday updates, fixes and capabilitiesBuild & maintain thorough documentation for system implementationPrimary contact for questions related to how the system works from a business and a technical perspectiveProvide production support for Workday by troubleshooting problems, testing, and working with the business to resolve issues. Basic Qualifications: High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certificationAt least 6 years of experience with Workday functional configuration tasks (HCM, Recruiting, Benefits, Compensation, Time Tracking, Performance Management)At least 2 years of experience configuring business processes within the Workday platformAt least 3 years of experience with calculated fields or custom reports. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree7+ years of experience with Workday functional configurationExperience working in an agile delivery environmentWorkday or Workday Pro certifications (HCM, Recruiting, Benefits, Compensation, Advanced Compensation, Time Tracking or Performance Management)4+ years of experience with Workday Security or Workday Reporting4+ years of experience loading HCM data into Workday using existing Enterprise Interface Builders (EIB's)
