Talent Acquisition and HR Coordinator

The Talent Acquisition and HR Coordinator leads company recruitment efforts and provides administrative support to the Human Resources Department.Skills & AbilitiesEducation: associate or bachelor’s degree in a related field or relevant work history.Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a Human Resources or Talent Acquisition role.Excellent knowledge of MS Office Suite and standard office equipment.High level verbal and written communication skills; able to display discretion and confidentiality.Must have the ability to multi-task in a fast paced, deadline driven environment.Other Requirements: Must successfully pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.Position DetailsFLSA Status: ExemptJob Status: Full-timeAmount of Travel Required: up to 20%Reports to: HR Manager with on-site directives from Permian HR GeneralistDirect Reports: NoneWork Schedule: Hybrid (on site and work from home) Monday through Friday 8am-5pm. Must maintain a flexible work schedule to meet the demands of the industry – some evening or weekend on call duties may apply. Applicants must be local to the Midland/Odessa, TX area.Medical, Dental, Vision and Voluntary Benefits Available401(k) PlanPTO and Paid HolidaysDutiesAssist with verification of Approved Driver Program and create new hire driver forms.Track employee driver license renewals by notifying employees via phone/email, logging updates in HRIS systems, and communicate issues to HR Generalist.Execute new hire 30-day check-in surveys.Log files into employee Salesforce profiles as directed or as necessary.Coordinate and create new hire clinic schedule in accordance with DOT physical requirements.Partner with Safety and Trucking to track DOT Medical card renewals, physical appointments, and CDL specific qualification forms.Review new hire Salesforce onboarding profiles for accuracy and according to offer details.Participate in new hire huddles and agenda calls.Create, review, track, and submit new employee bonus letters.Efficiently and effectively fill assigned Corporate/Maintenance positions by partnering with department hiring managers on recruitment planning; execute established recruitment plan and follow up with department hiring managers as needed for feedback.Review applicants, conduct phone screens, initiate pre-hire forms, and update company HRIS systems with applicant data.Manage assigned online job postings, recruitment accounts such as Indeed, and social media job boards for all assigned Corporate/Maintenance related recruitment.Partner with the DWS Marketing Department for social media job postings, job fair graphics, and Corporate/Maintenance position virtual webinar events.Administer and review PI assessment results for candidates with hiring managers.Create and extend formal job offers to Corporate/Maintenance applicants utilizing the standard Corporate/Maintenance hiring offer letter request forms.Build and maintain relationships with trade schools, colleges, and other organizations for talent acquisition; attend and coordinate participation at relevant job fairs, career shows, trade events, college and high school exhibitions or similar events.Collaborate with and assist the Field Recruitment Coordinator as needed.Collaborate with and assist the HR team as needed.Other duties as assigned by management.Position QualificationsEthics & Integrity – Earns others’ trust and respect through consistent honest and professionalism in all interactions.Leadership – Promotes organizational mission and goals and shows the way to achieve them.Enforcing Laws, Rules & Regulations – Enforces governmental laws, rules and regulations and initiates enforcement actions in a way that the public perceives as fair, objective and reasonable.Accountability & Dependability – Takes personal responsibility for the quality and timelines of work, and achieves results with little oversight.Stress Tolerance – Maintains composure in highly stressful or adverse situations.Tact – Diplomatically handles challenging or tense interpersonal situations.DisclaimerThe Company has reviewed this job description to ensure that essential functions and basic duties have been included.
