Process Manager / Process Engineer – Stainless StructuralsStainless Structurals is hiring a Process Manager / Process Engineer to lead day-to-day quality/process operations. You'll report to our Chief Quality Officer.TASKS and RESPONSABILITY:Plan and supervise daily NDT (VT, PT, MT, UT, macro-etch) and approve NDT reportsLead in-process and final QC inspection across laser cutting, laser welding, pressing, grinding, straightening and blastingVerify weld quality against qualified WPS/WQTR records and codes such as AWS D1.6 and ASTM A1069Control order release: confirm reports, MTRs, heat traceability and C of C before anything shipsOwn quality records, document control and calibrationDrive nonconformance disposition and root-cause corrective actionSupport ISO 9001 / AS9100 internal audits and supplier qualitySupervise, train and coach NDT technicians and QC inspectorsBACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE:technical degree5+ years in quality, inspection or production in the welding field2+ years supervising inspectors or techniciansWorking knowledge of welding codes (AWS D1.1/D1.6, ASME IX) and WPS/PQR/WQTRAbility to read drawings, GD&T and material test reportsExperience with NCRs, CAPA and document control in an ISO 9001 environmentHighly valuedASNT NDT Level II or III (VT, PT, MT, UT) – Level III strongly preferredAWS CWI or SCWILaser beam welding, stainless metallurgy or AS9100 experienceASQ certification (CQA, CQE, CMQ/OE)Location: Conroe, TX - full timeInterested?
