They will schedule loads and deliveries by using strategic logic to support end-user goals and plan routes that align with company goals.This organization has many long-term employees and values the community, safety, and providing quality service. The ideal candidate will thrive in this setting, is committed to customer service, and can work independently as well as with a team.The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00AM – 5:00PM. Pay is hourly, with some overtime availability on Saturdays.Responsibilities:Partner with truck drivers, customers, and brokerages to build rapport with each member. Utilize logistic software to coordinate routes, loads, deliveries, and pick-ups.Directly supports an average of 10-20 truck drivers with their schedule. Maintain communication with customers, drivers, and other personnel. Keep parties informed of any delays proactively. Resolve customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner. Coordinates with brokerage department to qualify carriers and administer paperwork. Keep accurate records in software and track route progress. Ensure compliance with applicable local, state, and federal regulations. Qualifications:5+ years of experience working in dispatch, logistics, or transportation is required. Working knowledge of ICC regulations and safety awareness is preferred. Experience working with Google Suite, Profit Tools, FourKites, and TMS Scheduling is a plus. Ability to trouble shoot and predict problems before they arise. Able to think and act creatively to provide solutions. Proficient written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrated ability to remain organized and work swiftly between multiple projects to hit deadlines.
