Landmark Foundation Group (“LFG”) is a leading, fast-growing platform in the foundation repair and waterproofing industry with 20+ locations operating in 15+ states across five operating brands, driven by a mission of customer and employee stewardship.Controller OverviewLFG is seeking a Corporate Controller for a rapidly growing, leading national platform with significant backing. This is a critical leadership role reporting directly to the CFO, with a mandate to stabilize, professionalize, and scale the accounting function across a complex organization. We are seeking a proven leader who has operated in scaled environments through acquisitions, been in the rigor of a private equity-backed environment and is excited by the opportunity to step into a transformational, buildout situation as the business is in a pivotal stage of growth.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and transform the centralized accounting function across a multi-site organization, driving consistency and standardization across brands – building scalable processes aligned with future growthPartner closely with CFO and leadership team to improve financial visibility and reporting accuracyDrive process improvements and internal controls, bringing order to a previously fragmented functionManage auditor, tax, and valuation engagements to budget and deadlineCoordinate tax compliance and planning with outside advisors: federal and multi-state filings, apportionment and nexus, estimates, book-to-tax, and deal-related itemsOwn the consolidated cash position and near-term cash visibility; monitor working capital and liquidityOversee banking operations: account structure, signatories, sweeps, and payment controlsLead ERP standardization, consolidation and reporting tooling, and integration of acquired-company systems, improving the speed and scalability of the closeProvide functional leadership to brand-level accounting teams to drive consistency and clean consolidationQualifications Proven experience as a Controller within a PE-backed environmentExperience operating in a mid-to-large scale business ($100MM+ of revenue)Bachelor’s in accounting or finance; CPA strongly preferred7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including controllership; multi-entity consolidation experience is essentialDemonstrated ownership of external audits and coordination of tax with outside advisorsPublic accounting background (Big Four or national firm; audit and/or transaction services) a strong plusProficiency with mid-market ERPs (e.g., Spectrum, Sage, QuickBooks) and consolidation tools (e.g., Prophix)Preferred CharacteristicsHands-on operator with ability to execute while building for scaleDetail-oriented, with a bias toward fixing issues at the sourceThrives in ambiguity and a fast-moving, acquisitive environmentLow ego, high ownership, eager to grow with the platformTenex Capital ManagementTenex Capital Management is a private equity firm that invests in middle-market companies.
