Daily surgery and clinic schedules Birth certificate functions File maintenanceDemonstrates ability to use health data collection tools (Profile, MIDAS and document templates)Understands and applies privacy and confidentiality policies to release of information and access by all users requesting PHI.Maintains and corrects demographic information and unit records in hospital information system (MS4, Cerner, QuadraMed combining and un-combining). Able to report potential medical identity theftDemonstrates proficiency in basic computer skills such as email, Word, Excel, Windows operating system, use of icons and menus, work with more than one application at a time.Job RequirementsRequiredOne year of experience in medical record setting or Equivalent courseworkSuccessful completion of coursework in medical terminology; computer proficiency, and Microsoft Office or similar productsComputer literacy with electronic health records.Electronic Health Record certificate or equivalent educationPreferredBilingual highly desirable preference SpanishWhere You'll WorkFounded in 1941, Dignity Health - Dominican Hospital is a 188-bed, acute care, nonprofit hospital located in Santa Cruz, California.
