Environmental & Process Safety Specialist

Precision metal finishing is what we do, and doing it exceptionally well is the only way we know how.Your Role:As an Environmental & Process Safety Specialist, you'll drive environmental compliance, safety procedures, and continuous improvement across the facility. From overseeing programs, leading trainings, managing environmental reporting, and handling day-to-day operations of our wastewater treatment system, you'll strive to keep production safe and sustainable.What You'll Do:Manage wastewater flows (up to 30,000 gallons) and coordinate sampling and lab testing.Develop, implement, and maintain EHS policies and programs in compliance with OSHA, EPA, and local regulations.Operate and monitor the wastewater treatment system, including pH adjustment, metalextraction, and storage.Track, file, and maintain required environmental and safety reports.Conduct safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments; drive corrective actions.Lead safety trainings and toolbox talks on PPE, chemical handling, and emergency response.Maintain permits, safety documentation, and compliance reports (e.g., PCRs).Liaise with regulatory agencies and support compliance audits.What You'll Bring:3+ years of EHS experience, ideally in manufacturing or chemical processing.Solid knowledge of environmental reporting, safety standards, and OSHA.Experience with wastewater systems and chemical treatment (preferred)Ability to manage permits, audits, and agency relationships.Organized, communicative, and a team-playerWhy Join?Come be part of a tight-knit team that takes pride in doing work with a purpose, by supportingcritical industries and challenging technical demands every day.
