TailorVirginia Military Institute is accepting applications for a full-time Tailors. Job description includes supporting the Tailor/Repair Shop by altering/repairing cadet uniforms, performing routine maintenance to equipment, and keeping accurate account of daily work for later reference, to include use of iPad. Minimum qualifications include excellent work history and references required. Successful candidate must be able to understand oral and written instructions, and work well with college-aged customers in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Preferred qualifications include basic sewing skills and some experience using sewing machines, as well as basic computer skills.
