It's a chance to drive real quality across an entire organization that is mission-first, people-centered, and ready for what's next.Northern Illinois Hospice is a nonprofit provider with:A newly established palliative care lineA passionate and forward-thinking leadership teamA strong commitment to clinical quality and innovationDeep community roots as the region's first and most experienced hospiceIn this role, you will:Oversee quality and compliance programs across the organizationLead QAPI initiatives and performance improvement effortsGuide accreditation readiness and regulatory survey preparationTranslate data into meaningful staff education and process improvementsWork closely with the CEO, Director of Clinical Services, and the BoardHelp build a culture of accountability, performance, and patient-centered careWe are looking for someone who brings:An active RN license in IllinoisA bachelor's degree in nursing (master's preferred)At least five years of experience in quality and compliance leadership within hospice or palliative careStrong understanding of performance improvement, regulatory standards, and cross-functional collaborationPrevious supervisory or team leadership experienceCHPN certification or willingness to obtain it within one yearA quality or compliance certification or willingness to obtain it within two yearsFamiliarity with accreditation, preferably Joint CommissionConfidence in presenting to executive and cross-functional teamsThis is a full-time, onsite role based in Rockford, Illinois.You will be joining a mission-driven organization that values emotional intelligence, professionalism, and a team-first mindset.
