Our terms are five weeks in length, and the class sizes are small which provides the perfect opportunity for the faculty to share their knowledge in the campus classroom or with our many clinical partners.Nursing Experience SoughtPediatrics Labor and Delivery Medical Surgical Critical Care Behavioral Health Geriatric / Skilled Nursing QualificationsEducation/Credentials (North Carolina campuses):Must hold either (i) a BSN degree from an institutional accredited school (either ACEN, CCNE, etc) with a minimum of eighteen graduate semester hours or the equivalent in the discipline the faculty member is teaching, or (ii) a baccalaureate degree from an institution accredited by an institutional accredited school (either ACEN, CCNE, etc) and such work experienceCurrent unrestricted license to practice as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina is required.ExperienceMinimum of two (2) calendar years prior full-time employment or the equivalent in clinical nursing practice as a registered nurse or advanced practice nurse.Two years of teaching or presentation experience a plus.Skills/AbilitiesStrong academic and professional recordStrong active-learning skills for effective instructionExperience in a student-centric and hands-on learning environmentThe highest levels of integrity at all timesOrientation toward resultsExemplary interpersonal skills, verbal and written communication skillsECPI University is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
