Details Emergency Department (ED) setting in a 38-bed facility Trauma Level III Certified, Stroke Receiving, and STEMI Receiving facility Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (3x12s) Cerner EMR experience required Floating required 13-week contract Requirements Active AZ RN license or Compact RN license currently in hand Current BLS certification required; all certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start date Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Department RN experience Cerner EMR experience required Valid driver's license required for consideration No employment gaps of 90 days or more in the past 12 months Additional Information Responsible for shift accountability in providing care to ED patients using the Nursing Process in accordance with state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies Demonstrates critical thinking and clinical leadership in planning safe patient care delivery Delegates patient care priorities based on staff education and experience, and provides direction and supervision of assigned personnel Charge nurse experience preferred NIHSS certification not required but recommended Black scrubs required Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible RTO requests must be less than one week in duration Candidates who have worked at any CHS facility as permanent staff within the past 2 years are not eligible for this position American Traveler Job ID P-685414.
