The mission of the Sidewalk Program is to support the agency's goal by providing for the safe, efficient, and environmentally responsible movement of people by making sidewalks safe and accessible for all pedestrians. Under general supervision, the selected candidate will assist the Sidewalk Program's Community Response Unit by creating Notices of Violation, responding to complaints and inquiries via 311 Dynamics and Arts, processing field reports into various databases; process field staff reports including Preliminary Inspection Reports, Reinspections, dismissal inspections, all tree defect inspections, curb complaint inspections; perform data entry into multiple databases; respond to customer inquiries via 311 Dynamic and ARTS; respond to phone calls regarding scheduled and on-going construction; perform administrative support tasks as needed. Minimum Qualifications Qualification Requirements: A four-year high school diploma or its educational equivalent approved by a State's department of education or a recognized accrediting organization and one year of satisfactory clerical experience. Skills Requirement: Keyboard familiarity with the ability to type at a minimum of 100 key strokes (20 words) per minute. Preferred Skills Preference will be given to candidates that are proficient with data entry and experienced in telephone and written responses to constituent inquiries. 55a Program This position is also open to qualified persons with a disability who are eligible for the 55-a Program.
