Business Systems Analysts

Business System/Integration AnalystProvide project support as a business system/integration analyst to the public safety and justice (PSJ) projects. The objective is to provide business system/integration analysis support throughout the life of the project by performing tasks as outlined in the project schedule(s).Tasks & Deliverables:Provide business system/integration analysis support to the project team for the timely delivery of tasks as noted in the project schedule. Tasks may be added as needed that may not be fully described herein.Analyze and translate business requirements into functional and non-functional requirements as needed for projects.Deliver business process artifacts; use cases, process flows, etc., as needed throughout the project life cyclePerform and deliver requirements documentation; traceability matrix, requirements definitionCommunicate and coordinate with stakeholders and apply Agile best practices for tasks assignedPerform interface analysis for implementation of web services and deliver documentation as defined in the project scheduleDeliver testing scenarios, test plans and user acceptance test cases as noted on the project schedulePrepare system specification documents as needed for the project application, process functions and interfaces, as well as modifications and upgradesPerform and deliver documentation on analysis of electronic data exchange (EDI) interfaces between project solution and justice systemsProvide support to the project team throughout the design and implementation of EDI interfacesCreate, define, and deliver data mapping documents for each interface assignedDeliver an interface design document (template provided) for each interface on the project scheduleCreate and deliver product knowledge documentation and/or user/technical manuals for go liveTraining and Experience: Sufficient education, training, and experience to demonstrate the possession and direct application of the following knowledge and abilities.Seven (7) plus years as a business system, interface or integration analyst.Experience analyzing and translating business requirements into functional and non-functional requirements.Experience in applying Agile best practicesExperience supporting application implementations working either in data migration, data exchanges, customer reporting or user interfacesExperience supporting interface analysis for implementation of web servicesExperience identifying testing scenarios and writing test plans and user acceptance test cases for quality assurance.Experience preparing system specification documents for new and existing applications, and documentation of interface modifications and upgrades.Experience performing analysis of electronic data exchange (EDI) interfaces between numerous systems.Experience developing specifications to create or enhance information processing functions.Experience supporting the design and implementation of EDI interfaces.Experience working within an information sharing environment supporting translation of dataExperience working with data elements and databasesExperience in creating diagrams in Microsoft VisioExperience using SharePointExperience in working in a SoftwareAG development environmentExperience working in a public safety and justice domainExperience working with Microsoft Dynamics PlatformCBAP - Certified Business Analysis Professional or five years of experience working in a business analyst role.
