Overview The greeter is responsible for giving an overwhelmingly positive first and last impression for our members in any of our dining areas. They are professional, organized, upbeat, friendly and strive to open and close the members’ dining experience on a high note. Responsibilities Take reservation through OpenTable Greet members and their guests as they enter the club; strive to open the door for them whenever possible Manage the waitlist efficiently and effectively Prepare reservation cards for each table to include member name, number, time of reservation Preset menus for known reservations Make sure all menus are clean and well maintained Manage carryout by taking orders over the phone, reference mobile ordering to know what orders are being picked up, ensure all orders are accurate, and ask members if they require anything additional before they leave Assist the service staff with bussing and resetting of tables Bid members and their guests farewell when they leave and inquire about their dining experience Be flexible and can work in different areas of the club when needed Requirements: Previous hospitality experience preferred Familiarity with OpenTable a plus People Person / Outgoing; Positive can-do personality Flexibility working weekends including Sunday, evenings, and holiday(s) a must Must be 15 years of age or older Ability to be on feet for up to 100% of the prescribed shift Ability to lift fifty pounds, able to stand, bend, stoop, twist and turn for prolonged periods of time.
