Arrowhead Travel Plaza Facility Maintenance
Wage Range: $15.00-$25.00 DOE.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Ensures internal/external customer satisfaction through prompt, efficient, and friendly service.
Performs repairs to facility structure or building modifications as assigned by supervisor for carpentry, electrical, or plumbing needs.
Performs scheduled maintenance of equipment, weed eater, UTV, lawnmower, pressure washer, etc.
Performs routine inspections of light bulbs, HVAC system filters, and belts and replaces routinely; once a month, or as needed.
Monitors gas/diesel stations for operational efficiency and working conditions. Adjusts and makes repairs as appropriate—reports concern areas to supervisor.
Promotes public and employee safety by ensuring walkways are free from tripping and weather hazards, equipment works properly, and maintenance practice that avoids exposure to chemicals or other hazards.
Maintains inventory and supply of utility equipment - light bulbs, filters, hoses, etc.
Maintains grounds appropriately (weather permitting) by mowing and weed-eating once a week during the growing season or as necessary to maintain a clean, healthy appearance for lawn and landscaping.
Controls weeds by spraying, pulling, and preventative maintenance as necessary in all lawn and landscaping, fence lines, ditches, etc.
Operates and safely maintains vehicles, motorized equipment, power or hand tools, and other equipment.
Maintenance and repair of underground sprinklers, control boxes, fuel dispensers, hoses, swivels, breakaways, filters, etc.
Assists with operations requiring ladder use or heavy lifting, including helping with shelf moves or displays.
Compliance with regulatory laws, WRC employee handbook, department policy and procedures, safety codes, etc.
Assists with station attendant duties as business needs or assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Three (3) years of work experience in building maintenance and repair.
Troubleshoot electrical, plumbing, and HVAC issues.
Demonstrates knowledge of landscaping, machinery, and equipment maintenance and use.
High school diploma or GED. Or ten years of experience.
Effective communication skills-verbally provides instruction, responds to questions, and has exceptional interpersonal skills and abilities.
Work history that demonstrates dependability and a positive work ethic.
Work at elevated heights of 10 feet or more in tight or restricted areas, lifts and maneuvers up to 50 lbs. and works outdoors in adverse weather.
Flexible schedule to work days, swing shifts, and weekends.
Possess a valid driver’s license with no history of motor vehicle-related citation or arrest conviction(s) within the last five (5) years in any state per WRC insurance requirements.
Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Certified or licensed in electrical, plumbing, building design, building repair, and maintenance.
