Success requires proactive prospecting, relationship ownership, and personal accountability for portfolio performance.RequirementsKey ResponsibilitiesClient Relationship DevelopmentProactively source, develop, and maintain long-term client relationshipsSchedule and conduct regular in-person client meetings and site visitsTravel as needed to support clients in their working environmentsMaintain consistent, structured communication through scheduled check-insServe as the primary point of contact for assigned client relationshipsBusiness Development & Product InfluenceDevelop a working knowledge of Christie Lites' lighting rental inventory and servicesInfluence lighting product specification by collaborating with Lighting Designers, producers, and specifiersPosition Christie Lites as the preferred lighting rental partner during the bid and planning phasesManage competitive substitutions when alternate products are initially specifiedPresent rigging, labor, and support services as integrated solutions supporting lighting rentalsPortfolio & Performance ManagementBuild and actively manage a personal portfolio of client relationshipsSet annual relationship-development and financial targets in collaboration with the VP of RentalsIdentify and pursue new revenue opportunities through proactive networking and outreachRegularly review portfolio composition and recommend adjustments to support long-term growthMonitor portfolio performance, profitability, and commission reportingExecution & Cross-Functional CollaborationInterface closely with Project Management to ensure accurate quoting, reservations, and executionProvide timely and complete information to support job planning and deliveryParticipate in post-show reviews to ensure consistent quality across equipment, labor, and executionPartner with internal teams to resolve challenges and identify continuous improvement opportunitiesSupport Accounting with invoicing follow-up and account collection as neededBusiness Model & Policy AdherencePromote Christie Lites' Official Rental Product Line (ORPL)Strictly adhere to the One Contact - One Rep (OCOR) client management policyFollow established accounting, administrative, and reporting proceduresRepresent Christie Lites professionally and consistently across all client interactionsCandidates must meet one of the following experience profiles:1.
