Nimble has developed an all-in-one platform of next-generation solutions, including Warehouse Management System ("WMS"), Transportation Management System ("TMS"), Order Management System ("OMS"), Inventory Management System ("IMS"), and Returns Management System ("RMS"). The entire software stack is native, in-house developed and streamlines customer onboarding through a single integration that eliminates reliance on third-party providers.About the RoleAs a Software Engineer II you will play a critical role in working with our world-class cross-functional team to help develop and build the world's most advanced robotic fulfillment system! Nimble Cloud Logistics is a lean, 10-person team that is core to delivering effective solutions to Nimble's customers. On occasion, the team is expected to work extended hours, including weekends, to launch large revenue opportunities for the company. This role is approximately 60% backend, 40% frontend focused.Please note, no robotics or logistics experience required for this role.Responsibilities:Design and develop automation workflows, write unit/integration/system tests and conducting reviews to make sure your work is rigorously designed, elegantly coded and effectively tuned for performance and qualityPush and maintain code in productionBe available for production supportMeasure and debug performance bottlenecks for a suite of productsBe able to ship a feature end to end: frontend, backend, CI, infrastructureBe a mentor for junior engineersQualifications:Bachelors, Masters, or PhD in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience1-2+ years of industry experienceSolid understanding of cloud security practicesExperience building full stack cloud applications (both frontend and backend)Experience with REST, SQL, CI/CD, AWS, Kubernetes, message brokering, and DockerGood understanding of writing unit and integration testsStrong technical documentation skills (architecture diagrams + sequence diagramming)Nice to have:TerraformGitlab CIGoLangGraphQLCompensationThe pay range for this position at the start of employment is expected to be between $140,000 and $160,000/year. Your exact offer may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
