We are looking for a project engineer to support the preconstruction and estimating team. This role will work directly with seasoned assistant estimators and estimators to prepare estimates ranging from conceptual to detailed estimating. This position helps prepare for pre-bid jobsite meetings, preliminary construction schedules, RIFs, RFQs, and other project documents. Calling subcontractors for multiple bids and cultivating relationships with vendors is a big part of the position.The QualificationsBachelor's degree or technical institute degree (recommended)1 to 3 years in commercial construction and estimating experience (recommended)Proficient in desktop publishing, estimating, and scheduling software skillsAble to read, understand, and interpret drawings and specificationsAble to manage multiple projects at one timeSelf-directed with a high level of initiativeAble to successfully work within a teamExcellent verbal and written communication skillsCommitted to delivering outstanding customer service and quality work
