Engineering Project Manager

ScopeOverall project authority to include responsibility for scope, cost, and schedule within contract requirements and concurrence of the Director of Engineering.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesDuties include, but, are not limited to the following:Responsible for overall project including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring and control, and closeout. Scope managementSchedule development and managementProject cost and design to unit production cost managementResource allocationStakeholder communicationRisk managementProject PlanningProposal activities managementProvide communication, motivation, and leadership example necessary to foster individual and organization rapport and teamworkAbility to work flexible hours and/or different shifts, if needed.Ability to work in a safe professional manner adhering to all regulatory requirements including OSHA, EPA, State and Federal Regulations.As the Company's success relies on the productivity of our team and adherence to customer product schedules, an essential function of this position is the ability to arrive to work on-time, and work each day, as scheduled.Perform other duties as assigned.Qualification Requirements:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education and Experience BS / Technical degree and background in related industryProject management certification highly desired7 years progressively responsible experience in an electronics product development and production environment preferredHighly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Microsoft Project 2016 or laterTrained in EVMS techniques highly desiredAbility to read and extract relevant information from engineering drawingsAbility to successfully execute duties under pressure from deadlinesExcellent communication and organizational skillsPhysical RequirementsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
