JOB DESCRIPTIONJob Title: Facilities Project Lead IIILocation: Corning, NY 14831 Duration: 12 MonthsWork Schedule: 40+ hours per week (Mix of onsite (field) and office work)Scope of PositionProvide project leadership within a division engineering group handling: Capital projects Facility building/infrastructure repairs Renovations Process improvement initiatives Manage small to medium-scale projects based on portfolio demand Establish project requirements and plans from initial planning through project closeout following Clients PM processes Lead communication and coordination with: Division/facility leadership Internal teams and resources External EPCM firms Solve technically complex problems related to facility equipment, construction, and operations Day-to-Day ResponsibilitiesLead projects through: Initiation Planning Implementation Closeout phases Develop: Project scopes Cost estimates Schedules AR budget documentation Deliver presentations including: Business case justifications Project financials Status updates to leadership Apply sound engineering principles and structured problem-solving methods Lead, guide, and coach internal team members Manage multiple projects simultaneously and contribute across different project roles Communicate effectively across various channels Required SkillsStrong project leadership, communication, and organizational skills Strong interpersonal and team-building abilities Experience in: Project estimating Cost control Scheduling Ability to apply technical and project leadership principles to: Design Troubleshooting Problem-solving Experience with structured methodologies: PMBOK K-T (DA, PPA, RA) DESGN DMAIC Desired SkillsProficiency in: MS Project MS Excel Microsoft Office Suite Experience with SharePoint and collaborative tools Client Capital COE experience/certifications Professional Engineering (PE) certification PMI certification Experience in: Equipment installation and commissioning Troubleshooting Facility design and operations EducationBachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or equivalent Master’s degree preferred ExperienceMinimum 5 years of engineering and professional experience
