Details Multi-site health system with facilities ranging from Level 1 to Level 4 trauma centers across Illinois and Iowa Med/Surg Telemetry unit setting Experience with procedures including chest tubes, femstops, trachs, CBIs, drains, and central lines required Vasoactive and drip medication management including Amiodarone, Cardizem, Nitro, Insulin, Heparin, Dopamine, Dobutamine, Isuprel, Milrinone, and Argatroban with titration responsibilities EMR: Epic Requirements Active IL RN license required at time of consideration; IA RN license also required (proof of application accepted if not yet active) Current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA) required Minimum 2 years of RN experience required At least 1 prior travel contract preferred Proficiency with advanced procedural skills: chest tubes, femstops, trachs, CBIs, drains, and central lines Experience managing vasoactive drips and titration Valid driver's license required One supervisory reference from within the past 2 years required for consideration Skills checklist completed within the past year required for consideration Must have a taxable address more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel pay rates Additional Information Candidates must not have been employed by UnityPoint Health within the last 12 months Travelers are required to work 2 of the following 3 holidays: Christmas, New Year's, or Thanksgiving Time-off requests are limited to 1 day during the Thanksgiving and winter holiday windows Local candidates may be considered at select locations with adjusted pay rates American Traveler Job ID P-687865.
