Hotel Front Desk Attendant

Hotel Front Desk Agent We're looking for a positive and professional hotel front desk agent to deliver an exceptional experience to every guest at our hotel. You'll welcome guests, manage their information, distribute their keys and room assignments, and answer any general inquiries to ensure they have an excellent stay with us. If this sounds like you, apply today!Responsibilities Perform regular bookkeeping duties: make sure hotel guest information is current and correctAnswer incoming calls and questions about guests' needs in-person and online regarding room bookings, room rates, amenities, available rooms, rewards programs, and special requestsWelcome, register, check-in, and check out guests staying at the hotel, provide keys and room numbers, and record credit card informationMitigate customer complaints as neededConnect with the housekeeping department to ensure guest accommodations are readyQualifications Exhibits working knowledge of Microsoft Office and reservation management systemsExcellent time management skills, organizational skills, customer service skills, and interpersonal skillsAt least one year of hospitality industry experience as a hotel front desk agent or similar position preferredComfortable taking telephone calls and mitigating stressful situationsMust have graduated high school, received a GED or equivalentCompensation $15 hourly About DoubleTree by Hilton HarrisonburgThe DoubleTree by Hilton Harrisonburg is a full-service hotel and a well-established market leader in the area.
