Sports Court Attendant

Sport Court Attendants The Sport Court Attendants, under the direction of the Sport Court Supervisor and Operations Manager are responsible for assisting in overseeing Lake Gregory Sport Court venues and skatepark. This includes the tennis court, basketball court, playground, skatepark, and restrooms in Crestline, adjacent to Lake Gregory, as part of the Regional Park. Essential Functions Administers the safety and security plan for all sport court venues with attention to detail and the highest regard for the safety and excellence in all areas Administers and teaches skateboarding, tennis, and basketball; gives encouragement and direction, and provides a safe and clean environment for all participants Carries out the plan for community outreach that includes public events, local contest and skateboarding lessons Responsible for the inspection, cleaning, repair, maintenance, and record keeping (logbook) at each venue location Additional Functions Assists in the collection, record keeping and deposit of fees as applicable Collaborates with Sport Court Attendants and Sport Court Supervisor Ensures sport court venues are an excellent and positive experience for all Other duties as assigned by supervisor Major Competency Areas Self-motivated and works well under pressure Athletic by nature Excited to coach and encourage Qualifications Currently certified in CPR and First Aid (or willingness to obtain them) Minimum 18 years of age and a high school graduate Significant skateboarding and other sport experience Some experience with power tools, construction, and/or mechanics Physical Demands Must be able to lift 50 pounds Must be able to stand for long periods of time and work in hot or cold weather Abilities sufficient to carry out the essential functions of the job
