Drive over a variety of streets, highways and rural access roads. The driver must follow the dispatch schedule and directions from the driver supervisors.Drivers are required to take quality control samples at farms, measure the milk loaded into trailers, and minimize the truck idle times and conserve fuel consumption. We expect our drivers to operate safely and legally at all times.Job ResponsibilitiesOperate a commercial motor vehicle in compliance with DOT, DFA Commercial Motor Vehicle, and safety policiesPerform various physical tasks including lifting, connecting and disconnecting hoses, climbing a ladder and safely hooking and unhooking trucks and trailers.Verify proper documentation (Load number/Seal numbers/etc.) to validate load delivery and destinationDisassemble, clean, and re-assemble trailer pumps to maintain proper cleanliness at a food grade levelAlways represents DFA positively and professionally during interactions with customers, or regulatory personnelRequirements:Licensing and CertificationValid Class A CDL in state of residenceTanker endorsement (or able to obtain)Education and ExperienceHigh School diploma or GED preferred1+ year CDL experience or FMCSA-approved driving school graduateNecessary Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:Must be at least 21 years of ageKnowledge of DOT rules and safety regulationsMust meet MVR requirements, DOT requirements, pre-employment background requirementsClear English communication (written and verbal)Basic math and measurement skillsMust be able to work independentlyAn Equal Opportunity Employer including Disabled/VeteransCompensation: $29-$32/Hour
