Backed by deep industry expertise and a commitment to accuracy, compliance, and service excellence, we deliver reliable solutions that protect our clients' investments and streamline the closing process.Position Summary:The Assistant Commercial Escrow Officer is responsible for helping manage and oversee all aspects of complex commercial real estate escrow transactions from opening through closing. This role ensures that all parties involved comply with contractual requirements, title regulations, and company policies while maintaining accuracy, timeliness, and exceptional service.Onsite: 100%- Dallas, TXTravel: OccasionalResponsibilities:Review contracts to identify critical dates and title-related provisions, including required documents, earnest money deposits, and milestone deadlinesOrder title evidence through the title plant or from an out-of-county title company, as neededCommunicate with all parties involved including sellers, buyers, lenders, attorneys, and third-party contactsReview title commitments and exception documents to assist in clearing title, and address other noted mattersOrder tax certificatesCirculate to all parties the Title Commitment and walk them through required items/informationReview Entity documents to determine authorityObtain invoices for closingPrepare commercial closing statements, title closing documents and gather all necessary closing documents and prepare parties closing packagesDisburse all fundsSubmit recordable documents in the county where applicableProduce submission packages and transmit to lendersProduce document packages and transmit accordinglyFully assist or conduct closingsHandle post-closing matters, including coordinating with the policy department to issue all policiesReview policies prior to signingTransmit policies to the appropriate partyQualifications:Minimum of 2-4 years of solid experience in commercial closingsStrong working knowledge of commercial title, escrow procedures, and closing processesAbility to work independently while also collaborating effectively with internal teamsSelf-motivatedAbility to read, analyze, and interpret purchase agreements, title commitments, surveys, and legal documentsAble to process detailed information quickly and comprehend nuances of specific transactionsExceptional attention to detail with strong organizational and time-management, and memory skillsAbility to manage multiple transactions simultaneously and meet strict deadlinesExcellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively with buyers, sellers, lenders, attorneys, and third partiesProficiency in escrow and title software systems such as Softpro and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)Escrow LicenseNotary Public
