Executive Meeting Manager - The Hoxton, Williamsburg

We are looking for an experienced Executive Meetings Manager to join our Sales team!While this description is meant to give you an idea of how we see the role, it is not meant to be all-inclusive. As we adjust our service offerings and model, additional responsibilities may be asked of you to meet the ongoing operational needs.What You’ll Do…Help get those meetings booked in and across the line! Everything from site visits, proposals and contracting to working with the hotel operating systems.Ensure high conversion rates of inquiries to confirmed business while always tracking results.Be nice to people, respond to leads quickly, and negotiate fairly. Communicate with clients directly and manage logistics for wedding blocks, entertainment groups, corporate groups & meetings.Prepare and distribute of BEOs, Group Memos & Reports for your bookings.Work closely with the hotel’s operations team to help them prepare incredible stays and events that will blow our guests away.Assist with sales team hosted events. Be the first smile our visitors see when they rock up at the Apartment. You’ll help meet and greet all visitors and show them around.You’ll be the main contact for all guests of the Apartment, and help with all their requests.You’ll make sure the Pantry is stocked, events are set up as booked, and rooms are always kept tidy.You will manage Apartment inventory, organization, and report monthly. You’ll help with event billing and check in and out for groups & events.Check yourself (and others) with personal performance reports and quality control checks. Make sure our event spaces are always on point and fully loaded. Meet, greet, and entertain new and existing clients (think appointments, cold calls, etc.) Achieve monthly revenue targets and objectivesAct as the on-site contact for in-house groups and meetingsWork closely with the Director of Sales to produce an annual strategic sales plan for meetings businessMeet and Greet in-house key clients and guests to build relationships for future business. Deliver unforgettable hospitality within all areas of the business and cultivate a sales culture within the operations teamWe’re in it together, so cross sell within our hotel and to our global familyAnd of course, achieve set goals and help with the odds and ends that come up in our amazing worldYou’ll take safety seriously and follow all fire & security procedures, health & safety standards, and ensure you’re working in a safe manner at all timesSupport the sales team as needed with administrative tasks. What We’re Looking For…You have at least two years of hotel sales experience or administrative experience supporting a team. You are scarily organized. A problem solver; you love taking on difficult challenges and finding creative solutions. You don’t get flustered easily. If you don’t know the answer, you’ll dig until you find it.A giver; you like helping people. You get a kick out of getting people to those aha! Moments.
