Aquatics Manager

Aquatics Manager PositionThe Aquatics Manager position with British Swim School is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the aquatics program and customer service interactions. Priorities include ensuring the British Swim School program is delivered according to brand and safety standards, instructor team management, initial and ongoing training, customer conversations as well as teaching lessons when and if necessary. This position will also require due diligence with tracking required certifications for instructors as well as continuing the employee's development and competency and skills. Your typical responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and managing employees to maintain a smooth execution of daily aquatics and service operations. You will also create employee schedules and pool lesson schedules, address and document employee, customer, and pool incidents that occur, and teach and lead swimming lessons as needed. Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, excellent interpersonal communication and organizational skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office products. Preferred qualifications include 1+ years of customer service and/or management experience, experience in swimming and fitness teaching/management, life guard, CPR, first aid certifications, and certified pool operator (CPO) certification.
