Senior ML/AI Software Engineer - REMOTE - 1714Location: Remote in the USEmployment Type: Full-time employmentVisa restrictions ***CANDIDATE MUST BE US Citizen or Green Card holder (due to contractual/access requirements) ***Travel Requirement: Quarterly meetings onsite in Pennsylvania - Required (Paid travel)Experience Required5 years proficiency in design and analysis of algorithms, data structures, and design patterns in the building and deploying of scalable; highly available systems.5 years in at least one modern programming language (Java, Python, JavaScript, ACE, IIB/ITX, Informatica preferred), and experience with at least two of the following: React, Angular v4+, NodeJS, NoSQL databases, HTML5, CSS, Google Cloud Platform or Amazon Web Services.5 years of understanding of web services technologies such as REST, HTTPS, JSON5 years with one or more general purpose programming languages including but not limited to: Java, Python (Django/Flask), C/C++, C#, Objective C, JavaScript, or Go5 years in defining system architecture and exploring technical feasibility trade-offs for optimizing short term execution while planning for long term technical capabilities.Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a closely related field. Masters degree in computer science, Computer Engineering or a related field preferred.PreferredAt least 3 years of experience in developing and deploying enterprise-scale machine learning solutions in a software engineering-adjacent field.Proficiency in deploying machine learning algorithms as production ready API services.Experience developing and debugging in Python for AI/ML services using frameworks like Flask, FastAPI, Kserve, BentoML, etc.Exposure to architectural patterns of large-scale software applicationsAbility to effectively communicate technical concepts and results to technical and business audiences in a comprehensive manner.Ability to collaborate effectively across multiple teams and stakeholders, including analytics teams, development teams, product management, and operations.Ability to work independently and in a fully remote environment.Willingness and ability to stay up to date on new ML/AI technologies and their potential impact on the company.5 years of translating design mockups, prototypes and user stories into working applications5 years of ability to produce code that is fault-tolerant, efficient, and maintainable.1 year of working with Machine Learning esp. in Natural Language Understanding, Machine Translation, Deep Neural Networks and related fields.Demonstrated ability to achieve stretch goals in a highly innovative and fast paced environment.Hands experience working with agile methodology of scrum.Interest and ability to learn other programming languages as needed.Knowledge of professional software engineering practices & best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, unit testing, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.Strong track record in designing and implementing large scale consumer-facing applications.Demonstrated passion for user experience and improving usability.Experience and willingness to mentor junior engineers and help develop their skills and leadership.
