Summary Please accept this invitation to join the Bethany Home team. We are currently seeking CNA for 3rd shift to join our team in memory care. The team provides compassionate care to elderly people who need assistance managing their health care needs. Care provided includes patient care & safety by providing hands-on assistance with ADLs, observing residents and documenting behaviors, sleep patterns and condition changes, and responding to emergencies. Responsibilities Deliver the highest quality of care, with kindness and compassion, to each resident Provide personal care and supervision to residents according to their individual care plan Assist residents with ambulation, transfers, and repositioning Monitor vital signs Report observations or changes to the charge nurse Follow proper infection control guidelines and PPE usage Maintain current certification by attending and participating in training and education classes including monthly online in-services Requirements Current Iowa nursing assistant certification Excellent interpersonal skills, including customer service, patience, empathy, and compassion Schedule availability to work every other weekend and holiday Experience working in long term care a plus but on required Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment Job Details: Schedule: 10pm-6am working every other weekend and holiday Starting wage: $18.85; plus pay for related experience Shift differential $2.00 per hour Incentive pay for picking up additional hours Benefits and Rewards: Health, dental and vision insurance Paid short and long term disability insurance Vacation Paid birthday off Free meal every shift 8-hour shifts (paid lunch and break) Paid Holidays (double time) 401K with employer match Life Insurance Employee Assistance Program Scholarship program Shift differential for 2nd and 3rd shifts Employee recognition events throughout the year Eligible for an annual bonus Opportunities to advance Personal satisfaction gained from doing work that is fulfilling Bethany has a reputation for providing exceptional care!
