Industrial Engineer

We manage and operate production‑support, warehousing, and inventory‑management functions to ensure accurate material flow and efficient day‑to‑day operations.ResponsibilitiesConduct time studies to evaluate current processes and identify productivity and efficiency improvementsLead and support cross‑functional improvement initiatives using APQP‑based project reportingParticipate in FMEA development by monitoring, reducing, and resolving high‑risk priority numbers (RPNs)Support corrective action (CAR) processes by identifying root causes and implementing process improvementsMaintain and update plant layouts using CAD tools to reflect workflow, equipment, or process changesIdentify and recommend improvement opportunities independently and in collaboration with the Quality ManagerSupport manufacturing operations through the application of lean principles to reduce waste and labor inefficienciesCoordinate with vendors on tooling design, quoting, and implementation to meet production requirementsRepresent the company professionally during customer or supplier interactionsSupport Quality and Environmental Management Systems and maintain confidentiality of proprietary and customer informationPerform other related duties as requiredQualificationsRequiredBachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or a related engineering disciplineExperience conducting time studies and process analysisStrong analytical, problem‑solving, and organizational skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentationCAD experience (AutoCAD or similar) for plant layout and process flow updatesStrong communication skills with the ability to work independently and lead cross‑functional teamsAbility to manage multiple projects in a fast‑paced manufacturing environmentPreferredExperience with lean manufacturing or continuous improvement initiativesFamiliarity with APQP, FMEA, control plans, and corrective action processesKnowledge of ISO 9001:2015 quality standardsManufacturing or automotive industry experienceForklift or PIT certification
