Are you ready to take off on your next career with us?Job SummaryThe classification of Supervisor, Passenger Services includes the following: supervises, coordinates, and controls airport passenger service functions; monitors the quality and quantity of work performance; ensures compliance with Company rules and regulations and Company safety standards; trains subordinates.Areas of responsibility include all Passenger Service functions, Operations, and Weight and Balance, and may include Line Cargo, Cabin Services, Ground Equipment, Facilities Maintenance, and Fueling. Proactively monitors the work of assigned employees to ensure that customer satisfaction, safety, security, quality, and employee relations meet or exceed standards. Ensures they administer practices fairly and equitably, where all employees, customers, vendors, and other third parties are treated with respect.Read, understand, and clarify the implementation of the site-specific security plan and ensure that all WFS staff are issued with a relevant company ID and that they are required to display this identity badge. The scope of the job may vary with the size of the operation and its primary line of business.Full-TimeCompensation Rate: $22.00 per hour.City & Airport: Phoenix, AZ - Sky Harbor International AirportResponsibilitiesInterpret and apply safety rules, operating procedures, and maintenance instructions.Analyze data to calculate rates, percentages, and interpret bar graphs.Identify problems, gather relevant data, and draw accurate conclusions.Understand and apply technical instructions in mathematical or diagram formats.Operate effectively in high-noise airport environments.Perform duties independently with minimal supervision.Prioritize tasks and make sound decisions using independent judgment.Remain composed and effective under stressful conditions.Maintain consistent and punctual attendance.Minimum RequirementsAssociate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Ability to work rotating shifts, including weekends, holidays, and days off.Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.Preferred SkillsAbility to write routine reports and correspondence.Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.Physical Requirements/Working ConditionsAbility to lift 70 pounds.
