Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled Sawyer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for cutting metal for various projects. The ideal candidate will have experience with calipers, power tools, and fabricating materials. This is a hands-on role that requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to work safely in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities - Operate a forklift to move materials around the warehouse as needed. - Use calipers to measure metal accurately and ensure precise cuts. - Utilize power tools, such as saws and drills, to cut and shape metal to specific dimensions. - Use hand tools, including drills and saws. - Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure safety and efficiency. - Collaborate with other team members to meet project deadlines and achieve high-quality results. Qualifications - Proven experience as a Sawyer or in a related field. - Proficiency with calipers and power tools. - Experience with hand tools. - Ability to work safely in a warehouse environment. - Familiarity with fabricating materials and creating custom designs. - Strong attention to detail and ability to meet project deadlines. - Ability to work collaboratively with other team members. - Experience with reading blueprints.
