Job Title: Systems Support SupervisorPay: $70,304Location: Fontana, CA (onsite) Note: This operation runs 24/7, and individual schedules are determined by volume and client needs. Weekend availability is required and the facility is only closed three days each year. Position SummaryThe Warehouse Systems Support Supervisor is responsible for supporting and maintaining system and network infrastructure within a fast-paced distribution environment. This role provides Tier 2 and Tier 3 technical support, leads or assists with IT projects, and ensures operational continuity through proactive system management and troubleshooting.Key ResponsibilitiesInstall, configure, and maintain Windows-based workstations, handheld devices, and servers. Provide technical support for Autonomous Guided Vehicles (AGVs). Configure, monitor, and maintain network infrastructure, including switches, routers, and wireless access points. Manage user accounts and permissions within enterprise systems. Implement and support RF and wireless technologies. Install, configure, and troubleshoot various printer systems. Set up and maintain desk phones and mobile devices. Perform and oversee software installations, updates, and system upgrades. Maintain and track software licenses across departments and facilities. Troubleshoot system, network, and application issues to minimize operational disruptions. Develop training materials, SOPs, runbooks, and technical documentation. Communicate technical issues and solutions effectively to operations and leadership teams. Implement preventive maintenance programs aligned with operational and manufacturer standards. Ensure confidentiality and security of all systems and data. Document issues, resolutions, and system changes for future reference. Support cross-functional initiatives and perform additional duties as assigned. Travel as needed to support business operations. Business Continuity & Systems SupportSupport system failover processes and disaster recovery planning within distribution center operations. Assist in SQL environments and virtual server (VM) setup and maintenance. Coordinate with operations teams to execute failover procedures with minimal disruption. Maintain detailed documentation for continuity processes and recovery procedures. Participate in bi-annual testing and training exercises to ensure preparedness. Generate daily operational/store orders through internal systems as required. Respond quickly and effectively in high-pressure situations to minimize downtime and operational impact. Qualifications & Skills4+ years of experience in systems support or IT infrastructure roles. Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Windows Server, Active Directory, and Exchange. Experience with networking technologies (switches, routers, wireless systems). Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Strong organizational, time management, and customer service skills. Preferred Qualifications:Experience in warehouse or distribution center IT environments. Understanding of logistics systems and warehouse technologies. Familiarity with AGV systems and automation technologies. Knowledge of Linux environments. Work Environment & Physical RequirementsAbility to work in a distribution center environment with varying temperatures and elevated work areas. Ability to safely work around heavy equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, reach trucks, clamps, and scissor lifts. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods. Schedule & Travel RequirementsAvailability to work weekends and holidays as needed.
