Credit Manager - Dallas
OverviewITOCHU Building Products (IBP) Holdings has an immediate need for a Credit Manager (hybrid) at our Dallas corporate office. This role will be responsible for establishing and maintaining customer accounts as assigned. The Credit Manager will work with the Director of Credit to develop and implement strategies for increasing collections of U.S. and customer accounts.ITOCHU Building Products is the largest leading manufacturer and wholesale distributor of fencing products in North America. Reviews and makes line of credit recommendations as requiredResponsible for account collectionsConducts customer visits as requiredFormulates and recommends policies and objectives to ensure effective management of assigned accountsPrepares management reports as requiredManages customer deductionsMakes recommendations on customer account write offs and additions to the bad debt reserve.Responsible for the review and release of customer credit holdsQualifications Minimum five years of credit and collections management experienceBachelor's degree in finance or accounting preferredAbility to travel up to 10% of time as neededStrong communication skills ( verbal & written )Working knowledge and experience with PC's as well as Microsoft Excel, Word, and Power PointStrong organizational, planning, financial, and interpersonal skillsAble to work independently and as part of a teamAble to work effectively with all levels of the organizationAt IBP, we believe in transparency, open communication, and rewarding success with a path to fully develop your potential while building a career.
