We serve producers from two locations: Lubbock, TX and Carlisle, Ar.
Join our Bigham manufacturing team as a Production Painter, where you'll play a vital role in bringing high-quality products to life through expert painting techniques. Candidate must have 2+ years experience in manufacturing painting. This position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced factory environment, utilizing your mechanical knowledge and hands-on skills to ensure each item meets our quality standards. As a key contributor to our assembly line, you'll help maintain efficient production flow while applying your expertise with hand tools, power tools, and painting equipment. Must have reliable transportation.
Responsibilities
Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and masking as needed to ensure optimal finish quality
Operate spray guns, brushes, rollers, and other hand or power tools to apply paint or coatings accurately and efficiently
Follow detailed work instructions and safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment
Use forklift and warehouse experience to move materials and finished products within the manufacturing facility
Conduct quality checks on painted items to verify color consistency, coverage, and finish standards
Assist with assembly line tasks when required, supporting overall production goals
Maintain cleanliness of work area and equipment to uphold safety and efficiency standards
Requirements
Proven factory experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment, preferably within a production setting
Mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
Experience with forklifts or willingness to obtain certification upon hire
Familiarity with warehouse procedures and inventory movement within a manufacturing facility
Ability to work on an assembly line with precision and attention to detail
Strong understanding of safety protocols related to manufacturing processes and equipment use
Prior experience using hand tools, power tools, and paint spray equipment.
Continous standing/walking during a scheduled work shift. (typically 8 hours)
Must be able to lift 60 pounds from ground to waist level.
Must be able to work in cold, hot and humid weather.
