This role is crucial to ensuring the safety of staff, customers, and inventory, while maintaining compliance with Arizona Department of Health Services cannabis regulations.Key ResponsibilitiesMonitor and authorize entry and exit of employees, customers, and visitorsMaintain a consistent, visible presence at the entrance to deter theft or disruptive behaviorObserve behavior, monitor security cameras, and respond to suspicious activityDe-escalate incidents professionally and follow proper documentation protocolsConduct routine patrols of the sales floor, back rooms, and store perimeterMaintain detailed daily logs of all security activity and incidentsSupport emergency response procedures, including medical or law enforcement interactionsAssist with opening and closing duties, including security sweepsCollaborate with the Host and Retail team to ensure a safe and smooth customer experienceQualificationsMust be at least 21 years oldHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredPrevious experience in security, law enforcement, or military preferredProfessional appearance and strong interpersonal skillsAbility to stay calm and act quickly under pressureComfortable standing for long periods and conducting foot patrolsExcellent written and verbal communicationMust be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as neededMust be able to pass a background check and obtain a valid Arizona Facility Agent (FA) CardWhat We OfferCompetitive hourly payEmployee discountsGrowth opportunities within a dynamic and expanding companySupportive and professional work environmentProtect The Team.
