Java Developer

This role requires a dedicated professional who is adept at building high-quality, scalable, and efficient Java applications. *Key Responsibilities:* * Develop and implement Java applications, ensuring high performance and responsiveness. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. * Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle, from concept and design to testing. * Write well-designed, testable, efficient code. * Ensure designs comply with specifications. * Prepare and produce releases of software components. * Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting these for architectural review. *Requirements:* * Must be a US Person (Citizen or Green Card holder). * Proven hands-on Software Development experience in Java development. * Hands-on experience in designing and developing applications using Java EE platforms. * Object-Oriented Analysis and design using common design patterns. * Profound insight into Java and JEE internals (Classloading, Memory Management, Transaction management, etc.). * Excellent knowledge of Relational Databases, SQL, and ORM technologies (JPA2, Hibernate). * Experience in developing web applications using at least one popular web framework (JSF, Wicket, GWT, Spring MVC). * Experience with test-driven development. *Desirable Skills:* * Experience with Amazon Web Services or similar cloud computing platforms is highly beneficial. * Familiarity with concepts of MVC, JDBC, and RESTful. * Knowledge of advanced Java frameworks and technologies.
