Student Project Assistant, a part-time hourly position, is responsible for editing a manuscript, ensuring it meets publisher standards, and collaborating with the author on revisions.
Key ResponsibilitiesReview and edit draft chapters for grammar, style, and citation accuracy
Supervise the final preparation of the manuscript for submission
Regularly report progress and needs to the authorRequired QualificationsMust be academically enrolled in a high school, community college, or university
Must meet academic standing requirements
Excellent written and oral English language skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and familiarity with the Chicago Manual of Style
Experience as an editor is desirable
