Summary / Position PurposeTestEquity maintains three calibration lab facilities, two in CA and one in New Hamshire where all our Certified Pre-Owned and Rental is reworked and calibrated as part of a thorough process of refurbishment. In addition, we provide refurbishment and calibration services for our customers in service equipment. The TestEquity calibration labs all have the same capabilities as the labs of major test equipment manufacturers, providing Value Add for our customers with accelerated turnaround time and competitive rates. TestEquity’s lab can handle calibration for any product from Keysight, Tektronix, Rohde & Swartz and Fluke, including network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, and signal generators up to 50 GHz. We are also equipped to calibrate any oscilloscope or power supply from any manufacturer.The Director of Lab Services - T&M for Test Equity Group will oversee the strategic planning, service portfolio, operational management, quality standards and regulatory compliance of our three Laboratory facilities. Leading a highly skilled team to ensure that our services offer premium quality while adherence to industry standards, and effective service delivery.This role will also lead and develop operating procedures (SOPs) to optimize our testing efficiency and productivity, ensuring we meet the high standards our customers require.Essential Duties, Functions And/or ResponsibilitiesOperational LeadershipLead the daily testing operations, laboratory facilities, and people, ensuring adherence to quality standards.Technical ComplianceEnsure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and security protocols.Strategic PlanningDevelop and implement strategies for testing, calibration, and measurement to drive efficiency & meet organizational goals.Team ManagementRecruit, train, and supervise personnel, fostering a culture of technical excellence and accountability.Data Analysis & ReportingAnalyze testing data to improve services and report findings to stakeholders.Budgetary ManagementManaging cost efficiencies to ensure we are maximizing profitability in our lab facilities. Oversee budgets for equipment, maintenance, and personnel.Indirectly responsible for product qualityOther duties as assignedQualificationsEducation and/or Work Experience Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or a related technical field.5+ years of leadership experience in technical, engineering, or testing roles is required.Strong knowledge of Test and measurement lab facilities, calibration, regulatory compliance and industry-specific software.Proven ability to manage teams, work under pressure, and drive improvements.Proficient with schematics and circuit diagrams, engineering drawings, BOM and indentured parts listsWorking knowledge in mechanical assembly methods and electrical processes including wire cutting, striping, splicing, contact or terminal crimping, marking, solder sleeve, heat shrinking and solderingExperience with electrical testing including continuity and insulation resistance desiredWorking knowledge of ERP / MRP in a manufacturing environment is desiredThis role is based in Moorpark and requires regular travel to Oceanside Lab and Nashua NH labPhysical RequirementsAbility to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA andother federal, state and local standards.This position requires applicants to be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship; TestEquity does not sponsor applicants for work visas.
