Certified Veterinary Technician

Calling all Fear Free CVTs! City Pets Vet in Portland, OR, is seeking a Certified Veterinary Technician to become the next long-term member of our incredible team. With our Fear Free, high touch approach, this is the perfect position for someone who enjoys building client relationships while exemplifying Fear Free patient care. We value the education and skill level that a CVT brings and will reflect this in compensation and benefits as well as utilization. We are exclusively seeking CVT candidates, however we will consider vet assistants with over 3 years of hands-on experience, who are within 6 months of licensure. Generate your own clients and manage cases! You will have the opportunity to manage technician appointments and administer treatments on patients, using a Fear Free approach, functioning independently so long as the patient has an established DVM-patient relationship You will be empowered to generate clients and establish your own routines and relationships You will also assist in managing procedures – performing dentals, monitoring anesthesia, surgical assistance, placing IV catheters, x-rays, etc. Our benefits are designed to improve the quality of life for each team member and include: Bonus Package: $2,000 Full-time schedule with no weekend!
