This role combines leadership, technical expertise, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced CNC environment. Key ResponsibilitiesLead, train, and support machinists; assign daily work and monitor performanceOversee CNC machining operations, including setup, programming, and troubleshootingEnsure parts meet specifications and tolerance requirements through inspection and quality controlDrive process improvements to reduce setup and machining timeMaintain equipment through preventative maintenance and daily upkeepEnforce AS9100 standards and safety proceduresTrack production progress and resolve issues in real timeSupport hiring, training, and development of team members Qualifications2-3 years of supervisory experience in a machine shop environment5+ years of CNC experience (Mazak mills and lathes preferred)Strong ability to read mechanical drawings and perform precision measurementsProficiency with CNC controls, G-code/M-code, and programmingAdvanced troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsStrong math skills and ability to work independently
