Brief DescriptionEssential Duties and ResponsibilitiesAs a Host(ess), a typical day might include the following:As guests are arriving in our venues you are greeting them with a welcoming smile and are able to provide them with fast, friendly serviceAssigning and escorting guests to their tablesMonitoring guest consumption of alcohol and intervene when needed according to all necessary guidelinesPromoting Big Night Entertainment Group Restaurants and Venues in a positive and professional mannerWorking well with others as you will be working with servers, bartenders, bar backs, and managementRemembering guest’s names and utilize them when appropriateBuilding guest loyaltyMaintaining a clean and stocked work areaOther duties to be assignedSkills/QualificationsThis job might be for you if you demonstrate the following abilities and meet the following qualifications:You have at least 1 year previous hosting experience in a fast paced bar/restaurantYou present a neat and professional appearanceYou are able to communicate effectively and accurately with customers, the public and co-workersYou are able to demonstrate teamwork with other staff membersYou are able to accurately count money and provide necessary changePhysical Demands / Work Environment / HoursThe physical demands and work environment described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
