LHH Recruitment Solutions is working with a client within the construction/engineering services industry who is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to support day-to-day financial operations within a fast-paced environment. This role will focus on accounts payable/receivable, reconciliations, and general accounting support. The ideal candidate is highly organized, accurate, and comfortable working with high-volume transactions. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Process and enter invoices, ensuring proper coding and timely payment Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including invoice matching and payment processing Perform account reconciliations and assist with resolving discrepancies Maintain accurate financial records and documentation Assist with journal entries, deposits, and daily cash postings Communicate with vendors and internal teams to resolve billing issues Support month-end close activities and reporting needs Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting procedures QUALIFICATIONS: 1–3+ years of accounting, AP/AR, or bookkeeping experience Strong understanding of basic accounting principles Experience with accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, ERP systems, or similar) Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office Suite High attention to detail and strong organizational skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment Pay Details: $22.00 to $25.00 per hour Search managed by: Claire Grossman Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
