In Summary
The Foreman is responsible for overseeing the coordinating daily operations on the job site to ensure projects are completely safely, efficiently, on time, and within budget. This role serves as the primary point of contact between field crews, and project managers providing direction, guidance, and problem-solving support.
Here's what you will do.
Supervise and coordinate daily activities of job site crews.
Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and job specifications.
Operate and oversee use of equipment including trenchers, excavators, and locators.
Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
Communicate with project managers, inspectors, and clients to resolve issues and maintain schedules.
Track materials, equipment, and crew hours for reporting.
Train and mentor crew members to maintain high performance standards.
Participate in meetings with management to provide project updates and discuss operational improvements.
Must wear required uniforms and PPE at all times.

This is what we need from a great candidate
3+ years of experience in telecommunications or other utility construction.
3 or more years of commercial driving experience
Previous supervisory or foreman experience required.
Strong knowledge of construction methods and safety practices.
Ability to read and interpret utility prints, maps, and plans.
Proficiency in operating heavy equipment and locating utilities.
Valid driver’s license (CDL preferred).
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to work flexible hours including evenings or weekends based on project or business need.
Your day - to - Day Terrain
This position will be exposed to outdoor elements to include but not limited to extreme heat and cold temperatures, humidity, rain, snow, sleet, wind, uneven terrain, road noise and traffic. Will routinely work around heavy equipment and tools with moving mechanical parts. This position requires lifting materials in excess of 50lbs.
