Our approach to problem solving is unique and our clients benefit from the results in weeks rather than months.About the Role:Our client is seeking a talented Application L2 Support Engineer to join their dynamic team in a fully remote capacity. This role offers the flexibility of working from anywhere, while contributing to mission-critical applications.Responsibilities:Incident Management: Efficiently handle and resolve incidents using ServiceNow, following established workflows.SQL Proficiency: Leverage SQL skills to analyze operational data, identify root causes, and optimize performance.Technical Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex application issues, including those involving Docker, AWS, and Java-based applications.Platform Support: Contribute to application releases and provide post-release support.Proactive Problem Solving: Identify potential issues, conduct root cause analysis, and collaborate with L3 teams and stakeholders.On-Call Support: Participate in a rotational on-call schedule to ensure 24/7 application availability.Required Skills and Experience:8+ years of experience in application support, with a focus on Java-based applications.Strong SQL skills and database knowledge.Proficiency in troubleshooting and root cause analysis.Understanding of modern application architectures (Docker, AWS).Experience with ITIL frameworks and ITSM tools (ServiceNow).Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.ITIL Foundation Certification (preferred).Ability to work independently in a remote environment.Strong organizational and time management skills.
