Junior Mechanical Engineer
Summary Description
Dynamics’ engineering capability includes design engineering, process engineering, and automation engineering.
Dynamics’ implementation group works to manufacture our engineered designs, using our engineered processes, and leveraging our engineered automation.
The Junior Manufacturing and Operational Engineer will perform as part of our implementation capability. Our implementation capability works closely with our process engineering capability, design engineering resources, and automation engineering resources to conceptualize, develop, test, and implement the process technologies that enable our engineering designs to be manufactured in volume by our automation resources.
The Junior Manufacturing and Operational Engineer will be responsible for advancing performance of our implementation domain prospective according to valid and sound scientific and engineering principles such that various methods and tactics can be applied to identify regions of the implementation space where Dynamics Inc. can manufacture and improve its commercial products. Statistical analysis and root cause analysis is included in the capability.
The engineer will be required to perform mechanical engineering, manufacturing engineering, and will be part of the operational leadership team managing our various manufacturing resources across our various manufacturing facilities. This role is also responsible for operating manufacturing lines, implementing manufacturing processes, implementing manufacturing automation, training manufacturing team members, qualifying processes, initiating and integrating quality improvement initiatives into the supply chain to reduce BOM and vendor material costs, reduce supply chain risk and develop new material and material sources.
Key Performance Indicators
Identifying deficiencies in mechanical processes and developing improvements
