Clinical Research Project Manager

DescriptionThe Clinical Research Project Manager is responsible for executing on a daily basis, the procedural, managerial and policy decisions made for the studies. Participates in all decisions made for the studies and identifies modifications of existing policies and procedures. This role is also responsible for evaluating peer-clinic dynamics and ensuring smooth peer program operations. This involves interviewing peers & other clinic staff, facilitating plans for program expansion through Community Health Needs Assessments (CHNAs), advising plans for program expansion, advocating for supportive workplace conditions, and developing clinic staff training protocols for peer implementation. Hybrid; Mostly remote but must be willing to plan/attend on-site meetings as needed. Part Time - 20-26 hours/weekPrincipal Duties And Responsibilities:Responsible for the coordination and implementation of research design process and study protocols at one or multiple sites.On a daily basis, executes the procedural, managerial, and policy decisions made for the studies.Participates in all decisions made for the studies and the formulation of policies and procedures.Identifies modifications needed and works to implement solutions.Responsible for the development and oversight of project budgets.Participates in grant writing and proposals.Serves as the primary contact for outside vendors utilized to ensure efficient operation of the studies.Responsible for the oversight of all supplies, equipment and files.Performs other duties as assigned.Complies with all policies and standards.Project/Program Specifics:This clinical research project manager will be responsible for evaluating clinic implementation of peer services; optimizing outcome metrics by creating Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), conducting a twice-a-year Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats (SWOT) analysis; establishing standards for satisfactory clinic implementation of peer services through designing Retrospective and Prospective Outcome/Process/Impact evaluations; evaluating organizational support of peer workforce through maintenance of documentation of accountability process reports; and monitoring execution of Workplace Action Plans (WAPs).Systems-Level Project EvaluationDesign and monitor project impact indicators and ensure program fidelity through the creation of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).Conduct bi-annual Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats (SWOT) analyses.Develop and implement CHNA protocols for program expansion.Perform retrospective and prospective evaluations with Coordinated Specialty Care clinics to assess peer specialist involvement and program impact.Collaborate with Massachusetts Psychosis Network (MAPNET) on program outreach, peer action planning, knowledge sharing, and public advocacy events.Program-Integration Fidelity MonitoringDesign and monitor project impact indicators and ensure program fidelity through the creation of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).Conduct bi-annual Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats (SWOT) analyses.Develop and implement CHNA protocols for program expansion.Perform retrospective and prospective evaluations with Coordinated Specialty Care clinics to assess peer specialist involvement and program impact.Peer Workforce AdvocacyDesign and monitor project impact indicators and ensure program fidelity through the creation of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).Conduct bi-annual Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats (SWOT) analyses.Develop and implement CHNA protocols for program expansion.Perform retrospective and prospective evaluations with Coordinated Specialty Care clinics to assess peer specialist involvement and program impact.QualificationsEEO StatementQualifications:Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as healthcare administration, public health, biology, psychology, education, social work or a related discipline is required.
