Machine Operator / Apprentice Operator

Machine Operator Position 100% Operator - $28.12/hr 80% Apprentice – $22.49/hr Rate increases 5% after every 1,040 hours worked Schedule is Rotating Shift, meaning that the employee would be required to work each shift in a rotation: 7:00am to 3:00pm 3:00pm to 11:00pm 11:00pm to 7:00am Description: Operate the various machines and equipment to manufacture product to quality specifications at the optimum level of efficiency. Responsible for maintaining turnout when take-out is down or while padding take- out equipment. Assist in the job changing process. Communicate all changes and problems as they occur to the production supervisor. Replace defective molds and similar equipment as required. Perform QC checks on the ware at various stages of forming check weight, and forming parameters. Complete any paperwork necessary such as Mold change log. Maintain quality housekeeping and good safety practices in the work area. Do other work as required by supervisor.
