Quality Control Specialist

Job description:Provide Staff has an immediate opening for 1ST Quality Control 7:00am - finish Monday to Friday with weekends as needed, mandatory!Quality Inspector Job Responsibilities:Must be proficient with computers/TabletsInspects and approves incoming materials by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, and rejecting and returning unacceptable materials.Inspects in-process production by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, communicating required adjustments to production supervisor.Approves finished products by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, returning products for re-work, and confirming re-work.Documents inspection results by completing reports and logs, summarizes re-work and waste, and inputs data into quality database.Keeps measurement equipment operating by following operating instructions and calibration requirements and calling for repairs.Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations.Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and reading technical publications.Accomplishes quality and organization mission by completing related results as needed.Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:Basic computer skillsAbility to generate invoice entry for received goods.Able to read small letters and numbers relative to product description.Ability to work with supervisors, peers and be a strong team player.Strong attention to detail and documentation relative to the job function.Understanding of IATF 16949 Quality System Requirements.Basic computer and Microsoft Office product skills.Excellent verbal and written communications skills.Education and Experience:High School diploma or equivalentExperience using RF Scan technologyAbility to lift up to 50 lbs.Benefits:Dental insuranceHealth insuranceVision insuranceExperience:Quality control: 3 years (Required)Shift availability:Day Shift (Required)Ability to Commute:Southaven, MS 38672 (Required)Work Location: In personRequired qualifications:3+ years of experience in the warehouse & production industryLegally authorized to work in the United States18 years or olderWarehouse skills: handheld scanner operationAvailable to work: early morning
