Online ELA Tutor - Middle/High School

eTutorsZone is seeking an experienced English Language Arts tutor to provide personalized, one-on-one online instruction to middle and high school students. *Responsibilities*

• Teach reading comprehension, writing, grammar, vocabulary, and literary analysis.
• Help students develop strong essays through brainstorming, outlining, revision, and constructive feedback.
• Support school assignments, homework, and test preparation.
• Adapt lessons to each student’s learning needs and academic goals.
• Track progress and communicate updates to the academic team.
• Maintain a reliable schedule and a supportive learning environment.

*Qualifications*

• Must be based in the United States.
• Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, or a related field.
• Experience teaching or tutoring middle or high school ELA.
• Strong writing, communication, and student engagement skills.
• Reliable internet connection and a quiet teaching space.
• Availability during after-school hours and/or weekends.

*Preferred Qualifications*

• U.S. teaching license.
• Experience with Honors English, AP English Language, AP English Literature, or SAT/ACT English and Reading.
